Terms of Service — Bami

1. Acceptance of Terms

Bami is a menstrual cycle tracking, pregnancy companion, and women's health support app. By using Bami, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Bami is NOT a medical service. Bami provides general health information, NOT medical diagnosis. Cycle and ovulation predictions are estimates and are NOT guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Do NOT use Bami as your sole method of contraception. AI provides general information, NOT professional medical advice. Consult a doctor for any health concerns.

3. Free and Premium Features

• Bami is free for all cycle and pregnancy tracking, daily logging, statistics, calendar, and notifications.
• Premium (monthly or yearly subscription) unlocks: a higher AI Chat allowance, in-depth daily health analysis, earning AI companions through app engagement, multi-slot notifications, the home-screen widget, Partner Sharing, and health report export.
• Some AI companions can also be bought as one-time purchases (non-renewing); once bought they are yours permanently, are not revoked if Premium lapses, and can be restored on a new device via "Restore Purchases" (same Apple ID / Google account).

4. Premium Subscription

• Prices are displayed directly from the App Store / Play Store based on your region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account.
• Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
• The unused portion is non-refundable upon cancellation.
• Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (play.google.com/store/account), not by Bami.
• Premium syncs within the same Apple ID or Google account (use "Restore Purchases" on a new device). It does NOT transfer between iOS and Android.

5. AI Features

• AI uses the Google Gemini service. Under Google's paid API terms, data sent through the Gemini API is not used to train AI models.
• Our server only acts as a proxy; no content is stored.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI responses.
• AI is not a doctor. Do not rely on AI for medical decisions.
• The in-app illustrations (weekly baby sizes and the companion characters) are AI-generated. They are original works created for Bami, not copied from or derived from any third-party artwork.
• Checkup photo analysis (Premium): when you explicitly tap analyze, the visit photos you selected (and, if you additionally confirm the compare step, a summary of AGGREGATE NUMBERS from your log — never free-text notes) are sent temporarily via Bami's server to Google Gemini to generate the explanation, then discarded. Bami stores neither the photos nor the results on any server; results are saved on your device only. The output is a general EXPLANATION of what is readable on the document — not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and no substitute for your doctor. You are responsible for any decision based on this content; all medical decisions must be discussed with a healthcare professional.

6. Partner Sharing (Premium)

• Partner Sharing is an optional Premium feature that temporarily stores selected cycle data on our server so a partner you explicitly connect with can view it.
• You choose what is shared and you are responsible for whom you invite. You can disconnect at any time, which immediately deletes the shared data from our server.

7. Data

• Data is stored on your device. You have full control.
• We are not responsible for data loss due to app deletion, device reset, or disabled backup.
• "Delete all data" is permanent and irreversible.

8. Limitation of Liability

Bami is provided "as-is" without warranty. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including health decisions based on app information or AI.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The latest version is always available in the app.
